The European Policy for Intellectual Property Association EPIP announces its 16th Annual Conference in Madrid, Spain, from 8 to 10 September 2021, hosted by the Institute of Public Goods and Policies at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC-IPP). Scholars from all disciplines and practitioners interested in the economic, managerial, legal and political aspects of intellectual property (IP) are all encouraged to submit and/or to attend. All forms of IP are relevant, whether patents, copyrights, trademarks, plant breeding rights, geographical indications, design rights, trade secrets or others.
→ PAPER SUBMISSION INFORMATION
Full papers or extended abstracts must be submitted via the online submission system at https://epip2021.org/submissions.
Preference will be given to full paper submissions. There is no required length or structure for extended abstracts or full papers. The chances of acceptance of an extended abstract are generally higher, the better it reflects contents of a full paper. All submissions will be peer‐reviewed.
→ Themed sessions proposals
EPIP 2021 invites applications for a limited number of themed sessions on any relevant topic via the submission platform. Proposals for sessions will go through a review process, and papers to be presented at the selected themed sessions will go through the review process as well.
The EPIP Association will award two Young Scholars Awards for the best full papers submitted by PhD students in economics/management and in law. On submission, if eligible, please indicate if you would like your paper to be considered for the award.
